Francisco Gilberto is originally from ciego De Avila, Camaguey, Cuba and Restituta is from Santa Clara, Cuba. They married and lived in El Cotorro, Habana, Cuba until 1961 when they moved to the U. S. After a while in Miami, Florida they moved to California where they now reside.
